Writers' Room Experience
Part 3 | Weeks 7-8
Participants will discover their true nature as a writer in this one-of-a-kind
writers' room workshop.
Most writers have not experienced working in a team environment. In fact, many aspiring writers do not realize that there are two types of writers, just as there are two types of artists — solo artists and collaborative artists. Solo writers enjoy creating and writing on their own, whereas collaborative writers thrive in cooperative settings and find working in isolation to be a torturous task. In fact, it is often so distressing for collaborative writers to work in seclusion that they turn away from their craft altogether convinced they’re not truly capable of writing. Many potential great writers are lost this way.

Today, several forms of entertainment are written in a team environment: television series, streaming series, animation (both animated films and children's cartoons), and console/virtual reality-based game narratives.
Many of the biggest blockbuster films are written by writing partners or small teams.
Understanding one's nature as a writer will direct one onto the right path.
Who is this workshop for?
