Write Turn is the first structured screenwriting program designed for correctional institutions and rehabilitation facilities. Participants learn story — its principles, its mechanics, and its craft — exactly as professional screenwriters do. The result is the natural development of narrative cognition skills: the capacity to think critically, communicate clearly, make better decisions, and construct a coherent sense of identity.
We intentionally keep class sizes small and intimate to maximize engagement and provide one-on-one attention from the instructor. Students are active participants in each lesson and apply their new knowledge through challenging, fun, and creative exercises.
Write Turn operates on a selective partnership model. We work with a limited number of facilities each quarter to ensure personalized attention and exceptional outcomes.

Our Introduction to Screenwriting program comprises three carefully designed parts that combine knowledge and real-world skills in an engaging and creative environment.

Participants discover the architecture of story: archplot structure, dynamic tension, logic, and why these principles apply far beyond the screen.

Mechanics of Screenwriting
Participants tap into the capacity of screenwriting to enhance problem-solving, critical thinking, and "imagineering" skills.
Part 3:
Writer's Room Experience
Participants bring everything together in a collaborative writers' room, developing teamwork, communication, and real-world creative skills.

Partners are ensured priority scheduling and facilitator continuity.
Additional seats are half price. The 5th and 6th participants are charged at 50%, so more clients can be added for less.
All programs delivered on-site by a certified Write Turn Instructor.
Travel and reasonable delivery expenses are billed separately at cost and agreed in advance.
